I came here in February of 2005 because I heard about it on TV along time ago and I thought I would go see it for myself. So I went up there, and the admission was $15 a person in american money, but it was so worth it. Anyway, I found it to be very interesting because of all the history it had behind it. I got some great pictures developed, not to mention the house was beautiful and coming here was the thing that I liked most about my trip to Jamaica. I would recommend it to everyone.
Beautiful, amazing, breath taking. That describes it. It was a wonderful house. Its history was even better. Kudos to those who restored it and gave its splendor back. The view of the ocean from the front of the house was just awsome. That view has made want to retire in the Montego Bay area. The tour was good even though we had some butt head on the tour with us, we ignored him. Got great pictures and my aunt was even allowed to take in a tape recorder to tape the tour. Our tour guide Petagay was wonderful. I want to go again, and again. Made my trip to Jamaica worth it.
Met my expectations...especially after reading The White Witch of Rose Hall by de Lisser. Enjoyed the tour very much.
